In next years Scream 6 the survivors of Ghostfaces murders hit the streets of New York City as revealed in the official trailer. Scream 6 in theaters March 31 2023 stars the new core group of survivors from Scream 5 including Jenna Ortega Melissa Barrera Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding. The action has moved from the fictional California town of Woodsboro to New York City in Scream 6 and appears to be taking place around Halloween as the subway is filled with costumed revelers.
